Was looking for a new spot to work remotely, and Yelp did not let me down! I grabbed an iced Mexican mocha with oat milk, which was great! Not too sweet and just the right amount of espresso to get me through my work day. My friend got a seasonal drink, which was a lavender and vanilla oat milk latte with cold foam on top- the foam was sweet and the combo of vanilla and lavender was lovely. Will be returning for their sandwiches for sure! The menu is huge and I'm excited to see what it's all about- the pictures are so enticing. Service was prompt and helpful, and they have a surprisingly big bathroom. Decent amount of parking during the week. It wasn't too crowded when we went so the WiFi was fast and there was lots of room to set up laptops.

Absolutely love the ambiance of this place. They've got a whole vintage automobile theme going on here and it's cool. I ordered the O.D.Bee which was refreshing and not too bitter nor sweet. I liked how well the lavender syrup paired with the honey and almond milk. Yummy. I also ordered the Kitchen Sink (lol) which was also pretty tasty. The mixed berry jam didn't overpower the savoriness of the rest of the sandwich. Overall a great experience, will definitely return once I'm back in the area.

The food is amazing! I love grilled cheese in general but when my husband told me about this place and how they have different sandwiches based on grilled cheese I was like yes I have to go. They have all things from salty grilled cheese to sweet and salty grilled cheese! My favorite is French Connection because I'm a sweet and salty person. This gives it the BEST sweet and salty mixture to perfection. I recommend this place 1,000%!!

Coffee and grilled cheese?! Two of my favorite things coming together into one?! I had Shift Coffee House bookmarked for quite some time when the opportunity to try it arose. My husband and I came on a Saturday morning before taking our dogs for a walk. We loved that they had plenty of outdoor seating so that our pups could hang with us while we enjoyed our coffee and sandwiches. I decided to try one of their specialty cold brews, which was s'more themed. My husband opted for his classic black coffee, plain. We each ordered one of their breakfast sandwiches - one with Carnitas and pico de gallo vibes and the other with jalapeños and a brisket vibe. We ended up sharing our sandwiches with each other, each eating half. The sandwiches were delicious and filling and everything we hoped they would be. I will definitely be back to try more of their infamous grilled cheese sandwich combinations, but for now, the breakfast sandwiches we had were fire.

I love this place. It offers a surprisingly spacious and inviting atmosphere. The interior exudes a laid-back charm, with ample seating that belies its compact footprint. For those seeking fresh air, the covered outdoor area provides a perfect spot to enjoy your meal in the fresh air. The star of my visit was undoubtedly the Firehouse Breakfast Sandwich. Don't let the name fool you. It gives you just a little kick but not so hot that you'd get a free shirt if you finished it; if you know what I mean. It delivers just the right amount of heat to wake up your taste buds without overwhelming them. Picture this: tender, smoky brisket mingling with perfectly cooked eggs, all embraced by a blanket of molten cheese. This savory masterpiece is then nestled between slices of expertly toasted bread, creating a harmonious blend of textures and flavors that will leave you craving more. To complement the sandwich, I indulged in their tomato soup. The rich, velvety texture was infused with an abundance of aromatic garlic, elevating this classic comfort food to new heights. The soup's robust flavors perfectly balanced the sandwich, creating a meal that was both satisfying and memorable. I opted for their monthly special: a refreshing hibiscus iced tea. This was very refreshing and required no additional sugar. Its floral notes and crisp finish made it the ideal companion to my meal and a perfect antidote to the summer heat. The attentive and friendly staff added the finishing touch to an already exceptional dining experience. Their warm hospitality and knowledge of the menu made me feel right at home. Whether you're a local or just passing through, this charming eatery is a must-visit destination that promises to delight your senses and leave you eagerly planning your next visit.

Who doesn't love coffee and grilled cheese sandwiches! They have plenty of sandwich options to pick from that you'll most definitely find something that peaks your interest. We got the Bay Area Brisket, Del Paso Del Sol, and Cali Cruiser. For drinks, I got the month special, Rose Garden Latte and my boyfriend got the chai latte. My boyfriend is a big fan of cheese and sandwiches, hence why we got three to try! We both liked the Bay Area Brisket the best and would recommend that if you came here. The Del Paso Del Sol is a good sandwich if you want a mix of different textures and flavors and reminded us of what's inside a breakfast burrito. The Cali Cruiser is probably best for someone who likes a chicken sandwich. I did like the jalapeño chips included in the sandwich itself, but ended up eating them first. The rose garden latte was the right amount of floral and recommend you trying if it's still a special. The chai latte was more on the milky side, but still held its ground. Overall, the food and drinks were good! I can tell this place is loved by locals. Someone came in and said "best coffee in the world". The atmosphere is inviting and I loved the decor!

10/10 I decided to come to this cute establishment after finding it on Apple Maps. It was the closest coffee shop to us at the time and we decided to check it out. To our surprise, not only did they serve coffee, but also had a grilled cheese bar and offer a variety of different types of sandwiches. I decided to order ice chai with oat milk , which by the way was delicious! I also ordered the firehouse grilled cheese, which was cooked to perfection. The location of this establishment was not necessarily in the best part of town however, the ambience of it was right on point and had the best decorations indoor . Will definitely be returning soon .

Woke up Saturday morning and wanted something different for breakfast - why not grilled cheese sandwiches? Shift Coffee is located on Del Paso Blvd, next to the now closed Southpaw Sushi. Upon entering, it was very smoky from what I can only assume was from them cooking the brisket. We ordered the Iced Barry White Mocha, Firehouse 20, Capitol Sunrise and Da Philly. The coffee was great and not too sweet. I was a fan of the Capitol Sunrise, but not so much of Da Philly. While I am a fan of grilled cheese sandwiches, I don't believe that any ingredient works in them which is how I felt about Da Philly. I like Shift's concept overall, but I don't know if I would come back for the food. I would definitely come back for the coffee and service though! I also liked seeing all of the old school motorcycle memorabilia. The inside feels like a less uptight local coffee shop that I actually want to hang out in and to have that in my neighborhood is awesome! Check out Shift Coffee if you have not done so already and check out the other businesses on Del Paso Blvd too while you're at it!

Had this place book marked for at least a year but never knew where it was. Well this morning I made the trek and it's next door to South Paw Sushi another spot I have book marked lol. The interior is decorated with motorcycle memorabilia and is clean and cool looking. Shift specializes in grilled cheese sandos and coffee what a fabulous combination. I tried the current drink special a pistachio latte and it was exceptional. The Del Paso grilled cheese with eggs, avocado and carnitas eats more like a sandwich the a grilled cheese but it was tasty. We traveled a good 10 minutes back to our office and the sandwich was still super crispy and delicious. Shift is great for coffee and eats, can't wait to try more of the menu. FYI coffee is fast but a sandwich takes around 10 minutes so if you're in a hurry you might want to order ahead.

Love the inside (decorations) of this coffee/grilled cheese gem! My husband and I love coming here because of the welcoming atmosphere that the employees provide. We've been back multiple times and tried many different items. We definitely enjoy sitting there in the mornings. When I last visited on 2/15/24, I was hoping to see someone who shows so much love to our son every time we were there.. unfortunately she wasn't there and I was informed that they have a lot of new employees. But I was still provided with the best of the best service! Coffee tried.. 1. OD Bee 2. CaVa Latte 3. Caramel Apple Latte *month special (back in Sept) Grilled Cheese tried.. 1. Firehouse 20 2. Bay Area Brisket 3. Da Philly 4. Hot As Hell***** I have to say that we LOVEEEE Hot As Hell! This is the one that we ALWAYS order! This place is definitely our to go spot for grilled cheese & coffee!
